Huddle

Welcome to the June edition of The Huddle. As we head into the second half of the year, our focus remains squarely on making your day-to-day operations smoother, safer, and entirely seamless.

This month, we’ve been busy working on updates that span from granular software improvements to heavy-duty hardware innovations. Whether it’s giving you tighter control over your data privacy, centralising your HR documents, or taking our smart lock technology into critical infrastructure and major retail stores, we are constantly pushing to eliminate friction at the perimeter.

Here is a look at what the team has been engineering for you this month.

Here’s what’s happening in the world of Site360.

01. Platform Evolution: Granular Data Privacy in PDF Exports

The Objective: Customisable Compliance and Data Protection.

We have upgraded our document generation engine to give employers greater control over sensitive data. When a form submission is completed and compiled into a system-generated PDF, administrators can now choose to hide specific fields or sensitive information based on company policy or regulatory privacy requirements.

This update ensures you can share critical verification documents externally without compromising internal data protocols.

02. Workforce Intelligence: User Document Management

The Objective: Centralising the Employee Lifecycle.

Site360 has expanded its database capabilities beyond external contractor management. System administrators can now securely upload and manage user-specific internal documents directly within the platform.

This centralized repository is engineered to house:

  • Employment Contracts & HR Documentation
  • Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
  • Internal Training & Certification Records

By anchoring these records to the user profile, operations teams gain a single, auditable source of truth for both internal staff and external workforces.

03. Commercial Deployment: Smart NFC Locks x Woolworths

The Objective: Scaling Physical Security via Database Verification.

Following successful technical trials, Site360’s Smart NFC Lock system is in preparation for rollout across Woolworths stores.

Unlike traditional access control, this hardware is hardwired directly to our Contractor Management Database. Access to pyhsical assets is entirely dependent on real-time compliance data; if acontractor's induction or Work Authority is invalid, the hardware remainslocked. This rollout represents a massive shift in closing the loop between digital compliance and physical site security at an enterprise scale.

04. Future-Proofing Infrastructure: Telecommunications Pit Security

The Objective: Redefining Critical Infrastructure Access.

Site360 is currently conducting Proof of Concept (PoC) testing on a groundbreaking Telecommunications Pit Security solution. Underground infrastructure and utility networks have traditionally been vulnerable to untracked, manual access.

Our upcoming solution applies the Day Zero Framework to subterranean assets, combining ruggedised smart hardware with geofenced access tokens. This project is primed to fundamentally change how the telecommunications sector—and critical utilities at large—approach asset protection and contractor accountability.

Looking Ahead

As always, these updates are a direct result of the conversations we have with you every single day. Your feedback is what drives our roadmap, and we are incredibly grateful for your partnership as we continue to build out the future of site security and workforce compliance together.
